| 1. Lower pressure in system. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator. |
| 2. Remove the block of the fuel pump. |

3. Disconnect a wire of the gauge and connect an ohmmeter to contacts 2 and 3. Measure resistance of the gauge when the measuring instrument lever is lowered completely downwards (a tank it is empty) approximately 110–115 Ohm and when the lever is completely lifted (a tank is full) approximately 2–3 Ohm. At moving of the lever resistance should change in regular intervals. |
| 4. If necessary replace the gauge. |
