Brakes of considered cars are equipped by a two-planimetric hydrodrive of brakes of forward and back wheels. Forward brakes disk, back brakes – disk or drum-type.
Brakes are equipped by system of automatic adjustment of a backlash in колодках (with a disk or a drum). In drum-type brakes the system of automatic adjustment works at inclusion of a lay brake.
Hydrodrive of brakes
Hydrodrive of brakes two-planimetric (separate on forward and back wheels). The nutritious tank of brakes is divided on two sections, on one for each contour. Into hydrodrive structure in addition enter the double dosing out valve providing alignment braking of forward and back wheels (it is located on a partition of a motor compartment).
The vacuum amplifier
It is mounted on a partition of a motor compartment and provides increase in effort at a pedal of a brake at the expense of the depression created in an inlet collector of the engine.
Lay brake
The lay brake has тросовый a drive on back wheels, joins the lever (on models Camry and Camry Solara), or a pedal (model Avalon). The lever settles down on the central floor panel of forward facing of salon, the pedal is mounted on the left mudguard of a body in salon.
Care of brakes
After performance of the repair interfaced to dismantling of brakes check up their work, moving on smooth equal road. At braking the car should not leave aside, braking should be smooth. Brakes are checked by smooth and sharp braking on different speeds of movement, avoiding, however, full blocking of wheels to exclude проскальзывание tyres on a road covering. Efficiency of braking of considered cars is influenced also by a condition of tyres, loading of the car and correctness of adjustment of corners of installation of wheels.
