9.1.4. A rack of a forward suspension bracket

The prevention

Shock-absorbers of racks vary only in steam.


1. Lift a forward part of the car and establish on supports. Remove forward wheels. Substitute a jack under the suspension bracket lever.
2. Disconnect from a rack an arm of a tube of a hydrodrive.
3. On the cars equipped with ABS-system, turn away a bolt of a collar of conducting and disconnect conducting from the gauge of speed.
4. Turn away the specified nuts of fastening of a rack to a rotary fist and a hammer and бородком beat out bolts.
5. Disconnect a rack from a rotary fist. Take measures to damaging a cover of an internal SHRUS, and also do not suppose fist falling as the brake hose will be thus damaged.
6. Keeping the top part of a rack, turn away three nuts of fastening to a cap of a suspension bracket (arrow) and get a rack from a wheel niche.


1. Check up presence on the case of a rack of cracks and other visible damages.
2. Check up a spring condition, presence on coils of cracks of a covering (leads to a premature exit of a spring out of operation owing to ageing), hardening and damages on an isolating lining of a spring.
3. At detection of damages disassemble a rack and replace the damaged details.


1. Working together, establish a rack so that hairpins have entered into apertures of a cap and screw nuts.
2. Get a rack flange in a rotary fist, insert bolts and screw nuts. Tighten nuts with the set moment.
3. Fix on a rack a hose arm. Attach a socket to the gauge of speed.
4. Establish a wheel and lower the car.
5. Tighten three nuts of the top fastening of a rack.
