Replacement
The prevention

Колодки vary only in the complete set on one axis.


Together with колодками coupling springs which, being exposed to periodic thermal loadings vary also, gradually lose elasticity and do not provide sufficient tap Pads from a drum. As a result the drum touches for Pads, causing their premature deterioration.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Release nuts of wheels, lift a back part of the car. Remove wheels.
2. Release a lay brake.
3. Remove a wheel. If Pads will not vary, mark them so that at assemblage to establish on former places.
4. Designate drum position on a nave that at assemblage not to break balancing.

The prevention
If the drum does not give in to removal reduce Pads. For this purpose get заглушку from a board of a brake and rotate a gear flywheel of a regulator a screw-driver, having taken away the lever from a gear flywheel other thin screw-driver.

5. Clear brake details.
6. Remove a coupling spring.
7. Remove clamping springs колодок, having pressed a cup and having turned on 90 .
8. Remove a lobby колодку, unhook the bottom spring.
9. Remove a clamping spring back Pads.
10. Remove from a brake board back колодку and a regulator.
11. Get flat-nose pliers a cable of a lay brake from the lever.
12. Get a spring of the lever of a regulator.
13. Unhook from Pads a returnable spring and remove a regulator.
14. Remove a cutting washer and remove levers of a drive of a lay brake and a regulator.
15. Establish levers of a drive of a lay brake and a regulator on new колодку, establish a cutting washer and squeeze it.
16. Grease rubbing surfaces of a regulator with refractory greasing. A regulator наворачивается after drum installation on new Pads.
17. Establish a regulator on back колодку (the regulator plug should come into a groove on колодке) and hook on a spring for an aperture in колодке.
18. Dress a regulator spring.
19. Grease places прилегания колодок with refractory greasing.
20. Get a spring of a cable of a lay brake, and, keeping its flat-nose pliers, dress a cable on the bent part of the lever of a drive Pads.
21. Establish back колодку, dress a cup, a clamping spring and fix an external cup, having turned a cup on an axis on a corner 90 .
22. Hook on the bottom coupling spring for eyes колодок, establish a lobby колодку, a clamping spring and cups.
23. Submit the drive lever Pads forward and be convinced that the regulator spring was not unhooked from back Pads.
24. Check up reliability of fastening колодок a back brake, having shaken them here and there and on itself.
25. A screw-driver pull the top coupling spring and hook on it for an aperture in колодке.
26. Before installation clear a drum and check up a surface condition. Check up ovality of a drum, at strong damages a drum pierce, small roughnesses are ground by a skin.
The prevention
At replacement колодок the drum is recommended прошлифовать, irrespective of its condition to remove any possible ovality. If after проточки internal diameter of a drum appears more limiting, a drum replace. Limiting diameter of a drum is cast on its internal surface.

27. Establish a drum.
28. Establish a wheel and lower the car, hold on wheel nuts.
29. Make some braking, moving forward and a backing, working as a lay brake, establish a backlash between колодками and drums.
30. Before departure check up work of brakes.
