PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. In four-cylinder models disconnect wires of spark plugs.
3. In six-cylinder engines merge cooling liquid and remove the air filter. Disconnect wires of spark plugs of a back row of cylinders and remove wires and coils of ignition of candles of a forward number.
4. Unscrew spark plugs.
5. Uncover heads.
6. Establish cylinder N1 piston in position ВМТ at the moment of a compression step.
7. Measure a backlash of each of valves by means of a set probeов.
8. On models with the four-cylinder engine turn a cranked shaft on one complete revolution and combine adjusting marks in a pulley of a cranked shaft. Measure backlashes of the remained valves (fig. Backlashes of valves of the 4-cylinder engine (remained see)).
9. On models with the six-cylinder engine turn a cranked shaft on 2/3 turns (240 degrees) clockwise. Measure backlashes of the specified valves (fig. Backlashes of valves of the 6-cylinder engine (remained see)). Turn a cranked shaft on 2/3 turns and measure backlashes of the remained valves (fig. Backlashes of valves of the 6-cylinder engine (remained) – 2 see).

10. Turn a cranked shaft so that a cam over the valve demanding adjustment, has been lifted upwards.

11. Turn the lift of the valve a cut to a spark plug. Establish the tool and press the lift. Compress the lift the special tool to remove a lining.
12. Remove a lining by means of a small screw-driver or a magnet.
13. Measure a thickness of a lining by means of a micrometer.
14. Calculate a demanded thickness of a new lining under the following formula:
N = T + (A – V)
Т = a thickness of an old washer
A = клапанный a backlash
N = a thickness of a new washer
V = recommended клапанный a backlash.
15. Establish a new lining, and repeatedly check up клапанный a backlash.
