7.2.14. The detonation gauge

THE GENERAL DATA

The detonation gauge is intended for detonation registration in cylinders and reduction of a corner of an advancing of ignition. On 4-cylinder engines the gauge will screw in the block of cylinders under a head, on 6-cylinder engines 2 gauges which will screw under a soaking up collector are provided.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The chain between a conclusion of the gauge and its case should not be closed накоротко. Otherwise the gauge replace.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight. 2. On the cold engine merge 3–4 l of a liquid. 3. On 6-cylinder engines remove soaking up collector (subsection 3.2.5 see.). 4. Disconnect a socket and remove the gauge. On 6-cylinder engines the detonation gauge is mounted under a soaking up collector. 5. The new gauge tighten with the moment 36 Н.м. (Hermetic is put on a carving of the new gauge by the manufacturer).
