4-CYLINDER ENGINES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a socket of conducting of the gauge about the generator and check up resistance of the gauge (the arrow specifies a gauge arrangement).
2. Together with the gauge it is necessary to check up and the computer module for what it is necessary to remove and hand over the module in car-care centre.

6-CYLINDER ENGINES
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Because of the complicated access to a socket the gauge is recommended to be removed (an arrow specifies a gauge arrangement). Check up resistance on the removed gauge.
2. Having warmed up the engine, or having removed the gauge and having placed in boiled water, check up resistance of the gauge at 80 ° With which should be 250–300 Ohm.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. On 4-cylinder engines uncover a belt (the Place of installation of the gauge of rotation коленвала fig. see 4-cylinder engines).
3. On 6-cylinder engines for access to the gauge remove the protective panel of a wheel niche (the Place of installation of the gauge of rotation коленвала fig. see 6-cylinder engines). Disconnect a socket, turn away a bolt and remove the gauge.
