3.1.10. Camshafts and lifts of valves
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover heads of cylinders, the ignition distributor, газораспределительный a belt, an asterisk of a camshaft and the top section of a back cover газораспределительного a belt.
2. Measure an axial backlash of a shaft by means of the special device. If the backlash exceeds admissible norm, replace a shaft and / or a head of cylinders. Fix the measuring device as it is specified in drawing.

CAMSHAFT OF FINAL VALVES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn a shaft of inlet valves so that the pin being in the shaft basis has been turned on 10-45 ° to the left from vertical position. Now cams of a shaft of final valves will be located so that pressure of springs of valves will help to remove a shaft with smaller efforts.
2. Fix an auxiliary gear wheel of a shaft of final valves, having inserted a bolt (arrow) into its aperture and in an aperture of the basic gear wheel.
3. Unscrew bolts of a cover of the back bearing of a shaft of final valves and uncover.
4. Loosen the bolts of covers N1, N2 and N4 by turns. Unscrew bolts and remove covers.
5. Loosen the bolts of cover N3, unscrew bolts and uncover.
6. Remove a shaft.

CAMSHAFT OF INLET VALVES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn a shaft of inlet valves so that the pin being in the shaft basis has been turned on 80–115 ° to the left from vertical position.
2. Unscrew bolts of a cover of the forward bearing of a shaft, uncover also an epiploon.
3. Loosen the bolts of covers N1, N3 and N4 by turns. Unscrew bolts and remove covers.
4. Loosen the bolts of cover N2, unscrew bolts and uncover.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure a trailer backlash of a spring of a gear wheel of a camshaft. Compare the received result to technical requirements.
2. Erase oil from linings, number and take lifts of valves and a lining. For extraction use a magnet.
3. Examine lifts on presence of deterioration and scratches.
4. Measure diameters of lifts and internal diameters of nests corresponding to them. By subtraction of diameter of the lift from diameter of a nest you receive size of a lubricant backlash. Compare sizes of backlashes to technical characteristics. If backlashes exceed admissible norm, a head and / or it is necessary to replace lifts.
5. Combine lifts in a separate box, do not mix a lining of lifts.
6. Examine cams and necks of bearings of camshafts on presence of deterioration and damages.
7. By means of a micrometer measure height of each cam. Compare the received sizes to technical characteristics, if necessary replace a shaft.
8. By means of a micrometer measure diameters of necks of bearings. Compare the received sizes to technical characteristics, if necessary replace a shaft.
9. Put a strip of a plastic measuring instrument on a bearing neck.
10. For definition of size of a lubricant backlash measure width of the crushed strip of plastic by means of a special scale. If necessary replace a camshaft and / or a head of cylinders.
11. Measure a backlash between a teeth of gear wheels of shaft by means of the special tool. The measuring device establish as is shown in drawing. Compare the received size to technical characteristics.

Installation

CAMSHAFT OF INLET VALVES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Grease молибденовой with greasing cams and necks of bearings of a shaft, grease lifts and establish them on the places.
2. Establish a shaft in a head of cylinders. The pin in the shaft basis should be turned on 80 ° to the left from vertical position.
3. Put hermetic on external edge of a joined surface of a cover of the first bearing (are marked by shading).
4. Establish covers of bearings as numbering. Arrows on covers should be directed aside газораспределительного a belt.
5. Tighten bolts of covers till the demanded moment of an inhaling. Tighten bolts in the specified sequence on the one fourth turn at one time.
6. Establish a new epiploon.

CAMSHAFT OF FINAL VALVES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Collect a shaft gear wheel.
2. Grease молибденовой with greasing cams and necks of bearings of a shaft, grease lifts and establish them on the places.
3. Turn a shaft of inlet valves so that the pin in its basis of a shaft has been turned on 10 ° to the left from vertical position.
4. Combine gear wheels of shaft, using синхронизационные labels (arrow). Establish a shaft of final valves. Повращайте a shaft of inlet valves forward and back that the shaft of final valves has sat down into place.
5. Establish covers of bearings as numbering. Arrows on covers should be directed aside газораспределительного a belt.
6. Tighten bolts of covers till the demanded moment of an inhaling. Tighten bolts in the specified sequence on the one fourth turn at one time.
7. Get a bolt stopping gear wheels of a shaft of final valves.
8. Establish the remained details.
