2.12. Check and replacement of hoses in an impellent compartment

THE GENERAL DATA

The heat in an impellent compartment can cause destruction of a material of hoses and accelerate their deterioration. Regularly check a condition of hoses in an impellent compartment and reliability of their fastenings.

Vacuum hoses

Check up a condition of vacuum hoses and connections. Frequently for effective check of a hose it is necessary for removing from the car.
Use a short piece of a thin vacuum hose as a stethoscope for leak revealing in vacuum system.

Fuel hoses

Check up fuel hoses on presence of damages or deterioration. Check up reliability of fastenings of hoses.

Metal tubes

Check up, that tubes not were strongly погнуты or are pressed. Examine tubes on presence of cracks or other damages. If it is necessary to replace a tube, use only steel tubes specially intended for it.
