() the Warning light signal of brake system

The given light signal has following functions:

– A reminder on the included lay brake. In case of occurrence of the given light signal be convinced that the lay brake is completely released. The light signal should disappear;
– The prevention of low level of a brake liquid.

In case of occurrence of the given light signal during driving reduce speed and move down after the journey. Then cautiously stop the car. Probably, there is a malfunction in brake system. Check up liquid level in the looked through tank.

To be convinced that the reason of occurrence of a warning light signal consists not in a lay brake, check up, that the lay brake has been completely released.

If level of a brake liquid low, follows in safe place to check up a brake by трогания from a place and a stop. If brakes function still adequately, cautiously go to dealer Toyota or to a workshop for repair. If brakes do not work, the car should be towed off in repair shop.

(b) The Warning light signal about an accumulator discharge

The given light signal warns that the accumulator is discharged. If the signal arises during driving, a malfunction somewhere in gymnastics system. However engine ignition will continue to work, while the accumulator will not be discharged. Switch off the air conditioner, the fan, a radio receiver, etc. Also go to dealer Toyota or to repair shop.

The light signal can start to blink, if the engine idles or at a stop with sharp braking. The reasons for anxiety will not be, if the light signal goes out at easy acceleration of the engine.

The light signal can appear, when level of oil the lowest. But as the signal is not intended for informing on low level of oil, it is necessary to check periodically level of oil by means of the bayonet index of level.

The given light signal appears, when fuel level comes nearer to zero. Fill a tank as soon as possible. On slopes or zigzag roads because of fuel fluctuations in a tank the warning light signal about low level of fuel can be highlighted earlier, than usually.

(f) The Display bulb of malfunction

The given bulb warns that there is a malfunction in electric system of the engine. If it is highlighted during driving it is necessary to check up / to repair at dealer Toyota as soon as possible.
(g) The Warning light signal "ABS"

This indicator warns that there is a problem somewhere in system of antiblocking of brake system. If this indicator is highlighted during driving, address as soon as possible to dealer Toyota for check. This indicator is highlighted, if the ignition key is established in position "ON". Approximately in 3 seconds the indicator will go out. If there was a warning light signal "ABS" (and the warning light signal about malfunction of brake system is not highlighted), the brake system works as usually, however the system of antiblocking of a brake not to help with a condition to brake function, blocking of wheels therefore is possible during unexpected braking or braking on slippery road.

(h) Warning light signal SRS

This indicator will be highlighted, when the ignition key will turn in position "ON" or "ACC". Approximately in 6 seconds the indicator will go out. It means that the system of a pneumopillow and devices of retraction of forward seat belts works normally.

The system of warning light signals supervises gauges of a forward pneumopillow of safety, the device of gauges of a pneumopillow of safety, the device of retraction of seat belts, delivery devices of pneumopillows the safety warning light indicators, internal electroconducting, power supplies.

If there will be one of following phenomena, it means malfunction somewhere in the components supervised by system of warning light signals. Address as soon as possible to dealer Toyota for car check.

The indicator is not highlighted, when a key will turn in position "ACC" or "ON".

During management it is highlighted or blinks.

(i) The Warning light signal about open doors

The given light signal will not disappear, while all lateral doors and a back door will not be completely closed.

(j) The Warning light signal about malfunction of a back lantern

If the light indicator is highlighted at the included headlights (at the first or second position of the switch), it means that has fused one or more bulbs of back lanterns.

(k) The Sound signal of a reminder on not taken out key

The given sound signal reminds that it is necessary to take a key if will open a door of the driver when the ignition key is in position "ACC" or "LOCK".

(l) The Sound signal of a reminder on included light

The given sound signal will sound in case the switch of headlights will be left in the included position, and the door of the driver will be opened at the taken key from the ignition switch.

Warning service indicators about necessity of check (except a warning light signal about low level of fuel)

Involve a lay brake.

Open one of doors. There should be a warning light signal about an open door.

Close a door. The warning light signal of an open door should go out.

Turn the ignition key in position "ACC". Warning light signal SRS should join. It will be switched off approximately in 6 seconds.

Turn the ignition key in position "ON", but do not start the engine. All service warning indicators, except a warning light signal of an open door and warning light signal SRS, should be included. The warning light signal "ABS" will be switched off in some seconds.

If any of service warning indicators or зуммерных signals does not function, as it is described above either the bulb has fused, or repair of an electric chain is required. Check up them as soon as possible at dealer Toyota.
